Cortina and the Dolomites

Cortina d’Ampezzo

Cortina, the Queen of the Dolomites, is a place to live all year round!

A complex system of lifts distributed on all of the mountain slopes, enables more than 160 km of Alpine skiing in the Dolomiti Superski ski resort.

For those who enjoy cross-country skiing, there are over 70 km of trails winding through enchanting woods, leaving one with a unique and memorable experience.
Countless trails for mountain biking and hiking wind through the Wildlife Park of Cortina Dolomites. The more adventurous can venture upon the railways leading to the secret corners of the Dolomites.

Autumn’s warm colors and spring’s blossoms of the high altitude are ideal for those who want to spend a thoroughly relaxing holiday in the mountains.
Cortina’s stimulating cultural life offers a rich variety of activities: art exhibitions, cultural events and live music.

The Museum of Modern Art Mario Rimoldi, located in the renowned town center of Cortina, houses a valuable collection of works of some of the greatest Italian artists of the twentieth century.

Both in summer and winter, Cortina hosts international sporting events, such as the World Cup in Women’s Skiing and the The North Face Lavaredo Ultra Trail.

Elegant restaurants, historic alpine huts and tradition, completes what the most beautiful valley in the world has to offer you.
